da pinnacle: Tottenham loanee Josh Onomah made his first appearance for Sheffield Wednesday on the weekend as he came off the bench while the Owls were 2-1 down to Stoke, before Barry Bannan netted the equaliser with an inch-perfect free-kick.
da aposte e ganhe: Wednesday had fallen behind to a well-worked Benik Afobe goal just two minutes in and the Stoke new boy then netted again 20 minutes later to double the visitors lead.
However, Jos Luhukay’s side were back in it just two minutes later when Bannan’s long ball found experienced striker Steven Fletcher in-behind the Stoke defence. Fletcher then cushioned the ball with his chest into the path of Marco Matias, who stabbed the ball past England goalkeeper Jack Butland.

England U21 international Onomah then replaced Matias, before Bannan’s left-footed free-kick bounced in off the post to level the scores.
Wednesday’s new man Onomah impressed and looked strong in midfield, and his performance could certainly have put him in line to make his first start for the Owls if Luhukay is to rotate for the visit to Nottingham Forest on Wednesday.
