After three long games without a goal, Arsenal are back. The Gunners took their stuttering title challenge to the South Coast this afternoon looking to finally breach the opposition goal after nearly 5 hours. After a relatively quiet starts against the Cherries, the Premier League hopefuls burst into life with two goals inside a minute.Much to the delight of their fans on Twitter.
Mesut Ozil finally broke the barren spell with an excellent strike from inside the area, rifling past the baying Artur Boruc in goal.
After waiting such a long time for a goal, you might have forgiven the Gunners for acting with caution. After all, you’re at your most vulnerable just after you score, right?
Wrong.
Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain the double the advantage less than two minutes later with a rasping effort into Boruc’s bottom corner after a good break.
Title talk can now resume, for now at least.
It’s only Leicester after all….
