da bet7k: Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho has revealed that he wants to spend the next 15 years at Old Trafford as he looks to restore stability at the club.
da dobrowin: Sir Alex Ferguson bossed the Red Devils between 1986 and 2013, winning 13 Premier League titles, five FA Cups and two Champions League crowns during his time at the club.
David Moyes was initially tasked with replacing Ferguson, but the Scot failed to make his mark, and the same can also be said for Louis van Gaal, despite the Dutchman landing an FA Cup.
Mourinho took control of proceedings last summer, and the Portuguese led Man United to three major trophies during his first season at the helm.
The 54-year-old has been known as a short-term manager throughout his coaching career, but he has revealed that he wants to create a dynasty with the English giants.
Mourinho told ESPN:
“I am ready for this. I am ready for the next 15, I would say. Here? Yes, why not? I have to admit that it is very difficult because of the pressure around our jobs, everybody putting pressure on managers and things that people say – that we have to win, but in reality only one can win and every year it is getting more difficult.
“But what I try to do in the club is show that my work goes further than the football results, that it goes to areas that people don’t think of as a manager’s job. In my vision, my job is much more than what I do on the pitch and the results that my team gets at the weekend.”
Man United are currently in the United States preparing for the 2017-18 campaign, and have beaten Los Angeles Galaxy and Real Salt Lake in their first two pre-season fixtures.
